He is a golden retriever. We picked him up Saturday afternoon after a short drive to Kress, TX. His mom is a "smaller" sweet darker golden around 60 lbs, and his dad is a happy and excited big boy at 75 lbs with some cream in him.
Day 1 with my Forever Family
My new mom held me and snuggled me on the way to my new home. Everything is new and kind of scary. I'm not quite sure what to do when she puts me down, so I just sit there. I'm surrounded by new things and new smells. My new dad keeps talking and petting me, but I'm not sure about him yet. Right now, snuggling with my new mom is the most comforting. Eventually, my mom gives me to my new dad to snuggle and nap with.
